Diet

Here at DCC we strive to provide healthy meals for our children to promote healthy, growing bodies and minds. We have a full-time chef on staff who prepares fresh meals and snacks in house daily. We provide breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack everyday. Due to several children with food allergies we are a nut free school. We are also welcoming to our families cultures and food preferences and accommodate vegan and vegetarian lifestyles.

 

Garden


We have a small garden that the children, infants through preschoolers, help take of. Vegetables and herbs from our garden are incorporated into our lunch menu.

Wednesday: Vanilla Pancakes Cheeseburger on a bun Chocolate Hummus

Raspberries and milk Peas, Watermelon and Milk Pita Chips

 

Thursday: Bagels with Cream Cheese Chicken Quesadilla Coconut, Pineapple smoothies

Blueberries and Milk Corn, Cantaloupe and Milk Pretzels

 

Friday: Cheese Toast Broccoli Cheddar Soup Cheez-its

Peaches and Milk Wheat rolls, Melon and Milk Oranges
